Gardens Aglow is a signature events during the Boothbay Festival of Lights. Join us again for the largest light show in Maine! See hundreds of thousands of lights, strung through the upper gardens in a beautiful display. From the lights, to the s’mores pit, popcorn stand and special art exhibits, Gardens Aglow has something for the whole family.

There will be hot cocoa stands both inside and outside. The old Visitor Center will have a marketplace where guests can purchase beverages and snack/comfort food. There will be tables set up in the old Visitor Center, inside the Education Center where the model trains will be located, as well as benches throughout the Gardens.

Explore the island on your own. Wednesday afternoon, we’ll visit the KING TUT EXHIBITION. “Treasures from the famed Egyptian ruler King Tut are coming to Boston. The more than 150 artifacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb are on display  at The Saunders Castle at Park Plaza, a special events space in the city’s Back Bay neighborhood. The exhibit is billed at the largest display of Tut treasures ever to travel outside of Egypt. The objects will become part of the permanent collection of the Grand Egyptian Museum currently under construction in Egypt.

Wednesday late afternoon, you’ll check-in to Encore Boston Harbor Casino. Enjoy the afternoon gaming or exploring the many amenities of the Resort. For dinner, use your meal voucher at one of Encore’s many restaurants or the buffet. Meal voucher valued at $20.

Thursday morning enjoy breakfast at Encore and leisurely time for gaming and exploring all that Encore has to offer. We’ll depart Thursday afternoon for home.
