Explore the island on your own. You might enjoy lunch at the famous Black Dog restaurant, or an afternoon ice cream at Mad Martha’s and dinner overlooking the ocean.  Spend the afternoon at the beach; there are miles of pristine beaches.  Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour on a sightseeing bus or purchase a Vineyard Transit day pass ($8 adults, $5 seniors) allowing you to travel all day between the towns and even “up island” with departures every fifteen minutes. Arrive to NYC at 10:00am at Bryant Park (situated behind the New York Public Library in Midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.) There’s something for everyone in the Big City. You’ll have time to explore the sites, catch a matinee, shop or visit a museum. We recommend planning your day in advance to maximize your experience! Enjoy free time in the City until your 9:00pm departure.

Gardens Aglow at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

Gardens Aglow is a signature events during the Boothbay Festival of Lights. Join us again for the largest light show in Maine! See hundreds of thousands of lights, strung through the upper gardens in a beautiful display. From the lights, to the s’mores pit, popcorn stand and special art exhibits, Gardens Aglow has something for the whole family.

There will be hot cocoa stands both inside and outside. The old Visitor Center will have a marketplace where guests can purchase beverages and snack/comfort food. There will be tables set up in the old Visitor Center, inside the Education Center where the model trains will be located, as well as benches throughout the Gardens.

Start your morning off with a deluxe motorcoach ride to Libby & Sons U-Picks Farm. Enjoy a fresh blueberry donut and hot mulled cider, on us! Pick your own apples or try some kettle corn. Next, we’re off on a scenic ride to Meredith, NH to board the Turkey Train. Ride the rails around Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoy a complete turkey dinner with all the fixin’s, served by Hart’s Turkey Farm.
