Helpful Information for Your VIP Touring Experience


Welcome to V.I.P. and our comfortable tours by motorcoach to many popular destinations. We take pride and pleasure in serving our customers. Whether a past customer or a new customer, we look forward to providing you with the best touring experience. Below, you will find our tour policies. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have and/or help you plan your group tour. Thank you for riding with us, and we look forward to providing your tour and transportation services.

Reservation Policy:
Day tours must be paid in full within 5 business days of tour booking to hold your reservation. All multi-day tours require a $50 deposit within 5 business days of booking and must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to departure. On some tours, the deposit could be more or less. Payment deadlines may vary depending on the specific tour. Reservations made after the final payment date require payment in full at the time of the reservation.

Overnight Tours:
Include overnight accommodations, baggage handling, sightseeing, admissions, transportation via VIP Tour & Charter Bus Co., meals as listed in itinerary, tour escort service. Look at your itinerary for the specific inclusions for your tour.

Not Included:
Meals and attractions not specified, tips for drivers, escorts and chambermaids, telephone calls and other items of personal nature.

Tipping: 
Tips for all included features are paid by V.I.P. Tour & Charter Bus Co. except for room attendants. Tips to motorcoach operators and tour directors are customary. Such appreciation should be extended at the completion of the tour on a voluntary and individual basis for a job well done. Generally $2.00 per person, per day is an average tip.

Cancellation Policy:
A full refund will be issued to all passengers whose cancellations are received prior to the final payment due date. Cancellations received on or after the final payment date are subject to a minimum cancellation fee of $50.00 per person plus any other non-recoverable expenses for which V.I.P. has contracted. Cancellations received within 30 days of the tour may not be processed until the completion of the tour. No refund will be issued for cancellations received 14 days prior to departure. Cancellations and transfers must be made during business hours.

Baggage Allowance:
Each tour passenger is allowed one suitcase handled free of charge as well as a carry-on bag handled by the customer. While every effort is made to assure the safety and efficiency of handling of all baggage, VIP cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage. It is recommended that all passengers insure their luggage prior to departure. V.I.P. will provide you with luggage tags for easy identification. VIP is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Responsibility:
VIP acts solely as agent on behalf of its tour patrons in arranging accommodations, sightseeing and other services. They are not responsible for deficiencies on the part of hotels, restaurants or any other company providing tour inclusions. VIP acts only as agent for the owners or contractors providing other means of transportation or services and shall not become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such other means of transportation or other services for any loss, injury or damage to, or in respect of, person or property howsoever caused or arising. We reserve the right to change any arrangement herein set forth should condition necessitate, offering substitutes of equal value, or to cancel any scheduled tour. VIP is not responsible for delays, extra expenses or any other inconveniences to passenger due to weather conditions or other “Act of God.”

Additional Information:
VIP requests that customers who require special assistance or accessible transportation, please notify the office 48 hours in advance. Please also note that you are requested to contact the office 48 hours in advance if for some reason these services will not be required.

For the comfort and safety of all our passengers, the use of alcohol and tobacco products is prohibited in our coaches. Rest stops are made frequently so those who smoke will have the opportunity to smoke outside of the bus. V.I.P. reserves the right to refuse to transport any person or persons under the influence alcohol or drugs, or whose conduct is such as to be objectionable to other passengers or the safe operation of the vehicle.
